Rope accepts a ride only when it passes your filters. Think of filters as standing instructions to the bot: this is the cheapest ride I will take, these are the areas I drive in, and these are the apps I run. This guide walks through each filter with the exact UI steps.

Minimum fare

Open the app Home tab and tap the control/settings section. You will see the Minimum fare slider. Set the lowest fare you will accept — for example ₹80. Any card below this is rejected instantly.

Tip: set it to the fare below which a trip wastes your time and fuel, not your dream fare. You can raise it later once you see the results.

Per-km rate

Below the fare slider is the per-km rate setting, for example ₹10/km. Rope divides fare by trip distance. A ₹200 ride for 40 km is only ₹5/km — the bot rejects it even though the fare looks fine.

This single filter removes almost all loss-making long trips. If you drive a bike taxi, this is the most important setting on this page.

Areas: include and exclude

In the area section, add the zones you want under Include (for example Narela, Sonipat) and the zones you never want under Exclude. Matching ignores spelling case and extra words.

Area is checked before fare. A ₹500 ride to a blocked zone is still rejected — so keep this list short and honest.

Per-app and vehicle rules

The app cards (Rapido, Ola, Uber, Porter) each have their own toggles: Bike, Cab, Auto and Parcel. Turn off what you do not drive. A parcel-only driver, for instance, keeps only Parcel on.

You can also set a different minimum fare per app — for example a higher floor for Ola cabs than for Rapido bikes.

Voice alerts and ride logs

Turn on voice alerts and the app speaks the fare, pickup and drop, so you never look at the screen while driving. Language follows the app language menu (10+ languages).
